Healing Heart

I used the Friday evening to sew a healing heart for a good friend who had hard days this week. Hope she will like it - I will hand it over on Tuesday.

Kindle Sleeve

One of my favourite christmas gifts was a Kindle. I just needed a sleeve to protect it, and all I could find in the internet was not very attractive to me. So I decided to sew one myself. This is the result! Very individual and unique I think - what do you think?

On the first picture, you can see the front, on the second, the back side of the sleeve.

The top is almost finished....

Finally, all pieces fit together and the top is almost finished. Now, I will fix the top on a black fabric which will serve as border - this will make the colours even more brightening - and will start to quilt with Valdani multicolor thread in yellow, orange and red.... I will show you the result - hopefully very soon!
